Northwest winds with gusts 30 to 45 MPH will continue this afternoon, with the higher gusts especially for ridgetops and wind prone areas. Some higher gusts up to 50 MPH will be possible early in the afternoon in wind prone areas. Blowing dust or dirt may occur near construction sites and freshly worked fields. Loose objects may be blown around and high profile vehicles may have difficulty traveling especially on north to south oriented roads. Boaters should be aware of the stronger winds today.
