Flooding will continue along many area rivers. Please see the latest flood statements for additional details. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Flooding will continue along many area rivers through the week. Thunderstorms will be possible Monday night into Tuesday. Although details are uncertain there remains some potential risk for strong to severe thunderstorms during this time. Mississippi River at Winona affecting Trempealeau, Buffalo and
Winona Counties.
Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Allamakee, Grant, Clayton
and Crawford Counties.
Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10 affecting Clayton and
Grant Counties.
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...Wisconsin...
Mississippi River at La Crosse affecting Houston, La Crosse and
Vernon Counties.
Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Wabasha and Buffalo
Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, water goes over the road in the 600 block
of Shore Acres Road. Many La Crosse River Marsh trails are under
water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 13.6 feet
early Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
13.7 feet on 09/28/1986.
