This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest...north central and
west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

 Scattered thunderstorms will be possible today in northern MO.
Locally heavy rainfall and minor flooding will be possible.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

 Above normal temperatures are expected Thursday through Saturday.
Temperatures in the mid to upper 90s expected for the weekend into
next week.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
  occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Missouri, including the following
  counties, Gentry and Worth.

* WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from
  earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 927 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding along
    the East Fork of the Grand River. Flooding is already
    occurring. Plum Trail Road west of Denver is flooded. Between
    2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Gentry and Denver.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
