Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited excessive heat risk.

DISCUSSION...

Heat indices in the mid to upper 90s this afternoon.

Scattered thunderstorm chances late tonight into Sunday morning
(15-40%). The greatest chances are across portions of central
Missouri. Most locations will stay dry.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Heat Indexes on Sunday into early next week will be in the upper
90s to around 105 degrees. Some areas may reach Heat Indexes of
110 F Monday.

Additional thunderstorm chances (40-60%) Tuesday into Wednesday.
