Weather hazards expected... Limited lightning risk. DISCUSSION... Showers and storms are possible in the west and north tonight. A couple of stronger storms producing gusty winds are possible but will not be widespread. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Excessive heat returns Friday into the weekend and early next week, with heat index values around 100 degrees. Sunday is the exception to this, remaining a bit cooler with heat indices remaining sub-100.
