This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited excessive rainfall risk

DISCUSSION...

Low chance, 15-20 percent, for a few isolated thunderstorms this
afternoon into early this evening. Lightning and brief heavy
downpours will be the main hazards with any storm that is able to
develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Heat index values this weekend into early next week will be in
the
upper 90s to around 100 degrees.

Scattered thunderstorm chances will occur at times late this
weekend into early next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
