This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Marginal hail risk.
  Slight thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited excessive heat risk.
  Limited excessive rainfall risk

DISCUSSION...

Strong to marginally severe thunderstorms will move through this
morning with wind gusts of 60 mph the primary threat.
Precipitation will end late morning with clear, sunny skies
afterward allowing high temperatures to rise into the mid 80s to
low 90s. Heat Index values will be in the 90s to over 100 in some
areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A brief break in the heat for Thursday however excessive heat
looks to return Friday into the weekend with heat index values
again near 100.
