...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM MDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Montana, including the following
county, northwestern Custer.
* WHEN...Until 530 AM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 228 AM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms in the Miles City
area. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Between 0.8 and 1 inch of rain has fallen in just over a half
an hour.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are expected
over the area as thunderstorms gradually shift east.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Do not drive on or attempt to cross
flooded roads, find an alternate route. Roads and driveways may be
damaged or washed out in places.
