This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast Maryland, northeast
North Carolina, central Virginia, east central Virginia, eastern
Virginia, north central Virginia, south central Virginia and
southeast Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A prolonged period of hot weather is expected through this coming
weekend into next Monday. Heat index values of above 100 degrees
will be common this weekend, with heat index readings of 103 to 108
on Sunday. These types of heat index values may be dangerous to those
outdoors. Additional excessive heat is possible on Wednesday.
