...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the
  following counties, Alamance, Durham, Forsyth, Franklin,
  Granville, Guilford, Orange, Person, Vance, Wake and Warren.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Waves of showers and thunderstorms are expected to overspread
    the northern Piedmont of North Carolina through tonight.
    Heavy rain and flooding will be possible.
