This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Another unusually hot day is expected today, with high temperatures
in the mid to upper 90s and heat index values in the upper 90s to
around 100. This heat and humidity may cause heat-related illnesses
in individuals who are especially vulnerable to the heat, including
those without air conditioning and those who are not adequately
hydrated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Dangerously hot weather will continue Friday through Sunday, with
widespread shade air temperatures rising well into the 90s each
afternoon, while heat index values will peak at or over 100 degrees,
highest this weekend. These unusually hot conditions for this time of
year will increase the risk of heat-related illnesses, especially
for those without access to air conditioning. Avoid outdoor
activities during the warmest parts of the day.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
