An extended period of dangerously hot weather will continue through much of the upcoming week. High temperatures are expected to reach the mid 90s to near 100 each day, with heat index values as high as 100 to 109. These unusually hot conditions for this time of year will increase the risk of heat related illnesses, especially for those without access to air conditioning.
