This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, The Piedmont
and Foothills of North Carolina, and the Upstate of South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hot and humid conditions are expected today with high temperatures
climbing into the middle 90s. Maximum heat index values of 100 to 104
degrees are expected east of the mountains this afternoon. These hot
and humid conditions will present an increased risk of heat-related
illness for those who are sensitive to heat and to those without
access to air conditioning. Avoid spending extended time outdoors
during the hottest part of the day.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Hot and humid conditions are expected Wednesday through Saturday,
with high temperatures climbing into the lower to middle 90s.
Maximum heat index values of 100 to 104 degrees are possible each
afternoon, primarily along the I-77 corridor and the Upper Savannah
River Valley. These hot and humid conditions will present an
increased risk of heat-related illness for those who are sensitive
to heat and to those without access to air conditioning. Avoid
spending extended time outdoors during the hottest part of the day.
