Today will be dangerously hot, with heat index values peaking around at 100. In addition, overnight lows will fall only in the mid to upper 70s. These hot conditions will increase the risk of heat- related illnesses. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Sunday will be dangerously hot, with heat index values peaking around at 100. In addition, there is a marginal risk, level 1 out of 5, of severe storms Sunday and Sunday night. Damaging straight line winds will be the primary threat, mainly Sunday afternoon and evening. Another round of dangerously hot weather is expected on Thursday, July 4th, and on Friday.
