Another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms is expected this afternoon and evening. A few of these storms could become severe and produce damaging wind gusts and hail. Hazardous weather is not expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. A tropical system is expected to strengthen in the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday and Thursday as it tracks northward.
