This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
North Dakota, northwest North Dakota, south central North Dakota,
and southwest North Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Thunderstorms are expected to move out of Montana and into western
North Dakota tonight after sunset. The thunderstorms will continue
to move eastward into central North Dakota after midnight tonight.
Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms are possible (up to a

quarter size and damaging winds up to 60 mph. However, a warm
layer of air above the ground known as a cap could limit the
strength of most of the storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Severe thunderstorms are possible over much of western and
especially central North Dakota Monday, mainly in the afternoon
and evening hours. There is a level 2 of 5 risk for severe storms
in southern North Dakota, and a level 1 of 5 risk for much of the
rest of the area. The main hazards are large hail up to ping pong
ball size and damaging winds up to 60 mph.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed tonight in a few areas.
