An isolated strong to severe thunderstorm or two will be possible early this morning mainly across portions of Dawson, Buffalo, and Sherman Counties. Heavy rainfall last evening will continue to result in areas of flooding today for some areas north of the Tri-Cities. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. There are off and on again chances for thunderstorms Sunday evening through Friday, mainly during the evening and overnight hours. Regarding the severe thunderstorm outlook through the period, there is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms Monday evening. Warmer temperatures return next week. Heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees are expected for portions of the area on Monday and Tuesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... ...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of central Nebraska, including the following
counties, Greeley, Howard, Nance, Sherman and Valley.
* WHEN...Until 645 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 231 AM CDT, emergency management reported flooding of
several county roads due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
already occurring. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Arcadia, Wolbach, Belgrade and Cotesfield.
