This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tuesday Afternoon Through Tuesday Night

Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon from northeast Nebraska
into south central Nebraska, gradually moving east through this
evening. These storms could possibly be severe with damaging
winds, isolated large hail, and widespread 1 to 2 inch rains.
Localized totals of up to 5 inches of rain are possible and could
produce flash flooding. While thunderstorms will persist into the
evening and overnight, severe weather potential will decrease as
we get farther into the evening hours with little to no severe
potential after midnight.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Thunderstorms remain in the forecast Wednesday. While severe
storms aren`t expected, additional heavy rainfall could occur.

The active weather pattern remains in the area with a daily
chance for storms from Thursday through Saturday.

SOUTHEASTERN DODGE...NORTHWESTERN OTOE...DOUGLAS...EASTERN SAUNDERS
AND CASS COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM CDT...

At 624 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles east of Nickerson to near Leshara to 5
miles northwest of Ashland to 3 miles northeast of Roca. Movement was
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

  Elkhorn, Ashland, Valley, Eagle, Waterloo, Bennet, Greenwood, and
  Kennard around 630 PM CDT.
  Omaha, Blair, Gretna, Bennington, Palmyra, Murdock, Flanagan Lake,
  and Zorinsky Lake around 635 PM CDT.
  Boys Town, Millard, Elmwood, Chalco, Wehrspann Lake, and Standing
  Bear Lake around 640 PM CDT.
  Papillion, La Vista, Springfield, Louisville, Fort Calhoun, Cedar
  Creek, Unadilla, and Prairie Queen Recreation Area around 645 PM
  CDT.
  Bellevue, Ralston, Syracuse, Weeping Water, Benson, Midtown,
  Walnut Creek Recreation Area, Florence, Aksarben, and South Omaha
  around 650 PM CDT.
  Western Council Bluffs, Offutt AFB, Carter Lake, Missouri Valley,
  Avoca, and Eppley Airfield around 655 PM CDT.
  Crescent around 700 PM CDT.
  Nehawka around 705 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Old Market,
Louisville State Recreation Area, Fontanelle, Camp Maha, Two Rivers
State Recreation Area, Schramm Park State Recreation Area, Manley,
Wilson Island State Park, Washington, and Platte River State Park.
