This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Flood warnings remain in effect for the entire length of the
Missouri River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Additional strong to severe thunderstorms with heavy rain are
expected Thursday through Friday night.

River flooding will continue along the Missouri River from Decatur
to Rulo, with at least moderate flood levels occurring from
Plattsmouth to Rulo. Flooding also expected to continue along the
Little Sioux River. Heavy rains expected Thursday-Friday night
could exacerbate and prolong flood conditions.

  Missouri River At Decatur affecting Burt, Thurston and Monona
  Counties.

  Missouri River At Rulo affecting Richardson and Holt Counties.

  Missouri River At Nebraska City affecting Fremont and Otoe
  Counties.

  Missouri River At Brownville affecting Atchison and Nemaha
  Counties.

  Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Cass and Mills Counties.

  Missouri River At Omaha affecting Pottawattamie, Sarpy and
  Douglas Counties.

  Missouri River Near Blair affecting Washington, Pottawattamie and
  Harrison Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY, JULY 03...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Brownville.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday, July 03.

* IMPACTS...At 43.0 feet, A portion of the federal levee along the
  Missouri side will be near overtopping. If overtopped this
  flooding will impact a significant portion of Interstate 29 and
  Highway 136.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 36.1 feet...or 2.1
    feet above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 33.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 36.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 41.8
    feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    Wednesday, July 03.
  - Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
