Thunderstorms will develop across the Sandhills this afternoon and overspread much of the area through the evening hours. Some storms may be severe, with large hail and damaging winds being the main threats. However, a tornado is also possible, mainly north of I-80. In addition, storms will produce heavy rain, which may lead to flash flooding for parts of north central Nebraska. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
