Hazardous weather is not expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. There is potential for an isolated strong to severe thunderstorm across portions of central and southwest Nebraska Sunday and across north central Nebraska on Monday. Storm potential will then increase through the latter portion of the week but the potential for severe weather is uncertain at this time. ...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT SUNDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding near and along the Ponca Creek caused by excessive
rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Nebraska, including the
following county, Boyd.
* WHEN...Until noon CDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Several
structures are flooded and some sand bagging operations are
continuing. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from
earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and
may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1050 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the
warned area. Flooding is already occurring.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Spencer, Lynch, Bristow, Anoka and Monowi.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring, especially in lowlands
near the Keya Paha river.

- At 952 AM CDT, Flooding continues from several inches of
rainfall over the past several days.
