This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms will gradually increase through this
afternoon, especially filling in over southwest Nebraska and
overspreading the region as they move northeast. Locally heavy
rainfall will create a marginal threat for flooding through tonight
and into Thursday, mainly along and south of Interstate 80 and also
across the Niobrara valley from Highway 83 eastward.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is potential for thunderstorms with locally heavy rainfall
Thursday and Friday with a marginal to slight threat for flooding
mainly along and north of Highway 20, particularly east of Highway
83.

Hot temperatures will pose an increasing heat risk Sunday into next
week with readings near 100 degrees across southwest Nebraska.

Otherwise the threat for widespread hazardous weather is low.
