* WHAT...Heat index values up to 95 expected.

* WHERE...Sullivan, Northern Carroll, Southern Grafton, and Cheshire
  Counties.

* WHEN...From noon to 8 PM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Maine, south central Maine,
southwest Maine, west central Maine, western Maine, central New
Hampshire, northern New Hampshire and southern New Hampshire.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Hot temperatures and heat indices up to around 100 degrees are
likely for Tuesday through Thursday of next week...with the hot
weather likely to continue through the end of next week. Potential
record high temperatures could occur on Wednesday and Thursday with
heat index values in some areas breaking 100 degrees. The cumulative
impacts of highs in the 90s and lows in 70s will limit any relief.
