SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 96 expected.
  For the Excessive Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat
  index values up to 105 possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, New Jersey, and southeast
  Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to 6 AM EDT
  Thursday. For the Excessive Heat Watch, from Thursday morning
  through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

...AIR QUALITY ALERT IS IN EFFECT FOR TUESDAY JUNE 18...

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has
issued a code orange air quality alert Tuesday for Middlesex
and Mercer Counties.

A code orange air quality alert means that air pollution
concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for
sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children...people
suffering from asthma... heart disease or other lung
diseases...and the elderly. The effects of air pollution can
be minimized by avoiding strenuous activity or exercise outdoors.
