...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON MDT TODAY THROUGH THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central,
  northwest, and west central New Mexico, including the following
  areas, in central New Mexico, Central Highlands, Eastern Lincoln
  County, Estancia Valley, Lower Rio Grande Valley, Middle Rio
  Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro Area, Sandia and
  Manzano Mountains including Edgewood and South Central Highlands.
  In east central New Mexico, Guadalupe County. In north central New
  Mexico, Espanola Valley, Glorieta Mesa Including Glorieta Pass,
  Northern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Northwest Highlands, Santa Fe
  Metro Area and Upper Rio Grande Valley. In northwest New Mexico,
  Chuska Mountains and Northwest Plateau. In west central New
  Mexico, West Central Highlands, West Central Mountains and West
  Central Plateau.

* WHEN...From noon MDT today through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Torrential rainfall rates in excess of 2 inches per hour will
    create rapid runoff that can quickly produce flash flooding.
    Urban drainages and areas with recent heavy rainfall will be
    more susceptible to flash flooding.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM MDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding along the Rio Chama. Emergency management reported
  flooding between La Madera arroyo and State Road 223. The Rio
  Chama has re-routed due to sand build-up and will continue to
  impact ranches in the area.

* WHERE...A portion of north central New Mexico, including the
  following county, south central Rio Arriba.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Farmland inundation

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 404 PM MDT, emergency management continues to report
    flooding in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Medanales and Chili.
