HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Weedsport, Port Byron, and Meridian.
This includes Interstate 90 near exit 40.

At 703 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Groton, or 8
miles northeast of Ithaca, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Groton, Dryden, Freeville, West Groton, Nubia, Mc Lean, West Dryden,
Peruville, and Myers.

At 645 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Covert, or 12 miles northwest of Ithaca, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Groton, Covert, Locke, Genoa, Dryden, Trumansburg, Freeville, King
Ferry, Taughannock Falls, and West Groton.
