  Summit County in northeastern Ohio...

* Until 345 PM EDT.

* At 258 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Strongsville to near Medina to Wadsworth to
  near Creston, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect damage to
           trees and power lines.

  Akron, Medina, Cuyahoga Falls, Strongsville, Brunswick, North
  Royalton, Barberton, Hudson, Wadsworth, Twinsburg, Tallmadge,

...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CUYAHOGA...EASTERN MEDINA AND
SUMMIT COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM EDT...

At 245 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Strongsville to near Medina to near Lodi.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cleveland, Akron, Medina, Parma, Cuyahoga Falls, Cleveland Heights,
Strongsville, Brunswick, North Royalton, Barberton, Solon, Hudson,
Wadsworth, Twinsburg, Warrensville Heights, Macedonia, Rittman,
Highland Hills, Stow, and Garfield Heights.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values of 100 to 104 degrees are expected at
  times this week with variability each day due to clouds and
  scattered showers and storms, especially early in the week.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio
  and northwest Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.

...AIR QUALITY ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR MONDAY JUNE 17...

An Air Quality Advisory for ground level ozone has been issued by
the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency for Ashtabula,
Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit Counties.

The advisory is from midnight tonight to midnight Monday night.

Air quality levels will be unhealthy for sensitive groups
during this period. If you are in the sensitive groups category
of children, the elderly and those with breathing difficulties,
please monitor your outdoor activity and check air quality readings
at airnow.gov. Additionally, sign-up at enviroflash.info for text
alerts regarding air quality.
