Scattered showers and storms are possible across the region on
Friday and Saturday. Showers and storms will be more likely in
coverage on Sunday with a cold front. Storms on Friday through
Sunday could reach strong to severe limits with strong, damaging
winds and large hail possible.

...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Peak heat index values of around 100 degrees expected,
  especially on Saturday. Values will be a bit cooler but still in
  the 90s on Friday.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio
  and northwest Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses. The prolonged nature of the heat may increase heat
  stress with time.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.
