values of 105 to 110 degrees much of the week. If you have plans

.Thunderstorms...
Thunderstorm chances return to the forecast late Tuesday into
Wednesday morning, mainly across northern and central Oklahoma,
and again toward Saturday across western and northern Oklahoma.
Organized severe storms are not expected.

* WHAT...Heat index values around 105 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northern, southern Oklahoma.

* WHEN... 9 PM CDT this evening. Also, from 1 PM to 9 PM CDT
  Monday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out
of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks
in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by
heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke
is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.
