There is still a slight chance for an isolated thunderstorm or two
across portions of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas through
early evening. Overall precipitation coverage will be very limited
at best.

A thunderstorm complex will likely move into far northeast Oklahoma
and northwest Arkansas late tonight into Wednesday morning from the

be confined mainly along and east of Highway 75 Wednesday morning.

THURSDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.
FRIDAY through SUNDAY...Thunderstorm and Dangerous Heat Potential.
MONDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...

An extended period of dangerous heat is forecast to continue through
the upcoming weekend. Heat stress impacts may steadily intensify
given the long duration of hot and humid conditions.

Localized and brief breaks from the heat area possible due to
thunderstorms on Wednesday and again over the weekend. Any reprieve
from the ongoing hot and humid conditions will be brief as the
weather pattern will continue to favor above normal temperatures.
