EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
After relatively cooler conditions mid to late this week, upper
level high pressure will make a return to the region for the
weekend and into early next week. Triple digit heat index values
will again be common. Heat headlines may be required by Sunday or
Monday as above normal temperatures continue and moisture
increases across the region. A low chance for thunderstorms will
accompany the increase in moisture and a weakness in the upper
level high beginning Saturday night and Sunday.
