AREA...Much of eastern OK and northwest AR. ONSET...This Afternoon. DISCUSSION... Hot and humid conditions will develop once again today with dangerous heat across the area this afternoon. Heat indices, or "feels like" temperatures will reach 100-105F. Most of the area will be dry today, but there is a slight (10-20%) chance of a few showers or thunderstorms this evening across portions of northeast OK and northwest AR. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. SATURDAY TO SUNDAY...No Hazards. MONDAY TO TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential. WEDNESDAY TO THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Hot weather will persist through the middle of next week. Breezy conditions will develop for the early part of next week bringing increasing moisture levels to the area. Additionally, a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms will return to the area beginning Monday.
