Showers and thunderstorms are expected today with a few severe storms possible midday into this afternoon. The potential severe weather hazards will include damaging winds up to 60 mph, small hail. and an isolated brief tornado or two could also be possible. Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall are expected with thunderstorms and flash flooding is possible. Urban and poor drainage areas will be most vulnerable to the potential for flash flooding. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
