...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Erie County in northwest Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 739 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have
    fallen. Additional torrential rainfall is expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Erie, Corry, Edinboro, North East, Union City, Girard,
    Waterford, Albion, Harborcreek, Wesleyville, Platea, McKean,
    and Elgin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall remains possible.

* WHERE...Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Holmes, Lake, Lorain,
  Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull and Wayne
  Counties in Ohio. Crawford and Erie Counties in northwest
  Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Periodic showers and thunderstorms are expected to produce
    torrential rainfall. Widespread rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is
    expected. Greater rainfall totals are possible.

EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central Ohio, northeast
Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Flood Watch.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected today with scattered severe
storms possible. All severe weather hazards will be possible with
storms, including tornadoes, damaging winds, and hail. Repeated
rounds of heavy rainfall are expected with thunderstorms and flash
flooding is possible. Urban and poor drainage areas will be most
vulnerable to the potential for flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
