...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM EDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
  counties, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon and York.

* WHEN...Until 115 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1113 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported between 1
    and 2 inches of rain has fallen in the advisory area due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Harrisburg, Lebanon, Carlisle, Lower Allen, Hershey, Colonial
    Park, Progress, Mechanicsburg, Middletown, Camp Hill,
    Palmyra, New Cumberland, Linglestown, Enola, Steelton,
    Annville, Lemoyne, Hummelstown, Cornwall and Paxtonia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LANCASTER...
DAUPHIN...NORTHWESTERN YORK...EAST CENTRAL CUMBERLAND AND LEBANON
COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 PM EDT...

At 1052 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles southwest of Shamokin to Linglestown
to near Mechanicsburg. Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Harrisburg, Lebanon, Lower Allen, Hershey, Colonial Park,
Elizabethtown, Progress, Middletown, Camp Hill, Mount Joy, Palmyra,
New Cumberland, Linglestown, Steelton, Annville, Lemoyne,
Hummelstown, Cornwall, Myerstown, and Paxtonia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
