This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Pennsylvania,
western Pennsylvania, and northern West Virginia.

   Severe Thunderstorm Watch.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening.
The main threats are damaging wind and localized flooding. Low
probabilities exist for large hail and a tornado.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thunderstorm chances will increase through the day Saturday within a
warm, moist environment. Probabilities remain low at this time, but
early indications suggest a risk for damaging wind and flash
flooding with this system. This period is worth monitoring for
forecast updates in the coming days.

  Southeastern Fayette County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
  Northern Preston County in northeastern West Virginia...
  Northeastern Monongalia County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 906 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  over Farmington to over Brookhaven, or along a line from 9 miles
  southeast of Uniontown to 7 miles southeast of Morgantown, moving
  east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and possible tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Farmington, Brookhaven, Markleysburg, Brandonville, Chalkhill,
  Bruceton Mills, Clifton Mills, Hazelton, Laurel Run, Valley Point,
  Cranesville and Cheat Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek

At 900 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking line of strong
thunderstorms along a line from over Farmington to near Monongah, or
along a line from 7 miles southeast of Uniontown to 7 miles
southwest of Fairmont, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Morgantown, Fairmont, Uniontown, Westover, Kingwood, Star City,
  Terra Alta, Rowlesburg, Pleasant Valley, Winfield, Farmington,
  Barrackville, Point Marion, Monongah, Granville, Newburg,
