Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects anyone without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and infrastructure. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the surf zone particularly along the western, northern, eastern PR, Vieques, and Culebra. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Excessive heat will continue each day in the lower elevations of Puerto Rico. The moderate risk of rip currents will remain through Thursday across the northern, eastern, and western coast of PR, Vieques, and Culebra. A high risk of rip current on Friday along the north central and northwestern beaches of PR. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will appear each afternoon mainly in western and interior locations. A tropical wave will reach the islands by late Thursday into Friday. However, moisture associated with it will remain across the islands through the weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
