This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms possible across north central
and northwest Puerto Rico. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area
and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas across the eastern sections during the early
morning hours, and the northern half and west sections of Puerto
Rico during the afternoon. Urban and small streams flooding is
possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals
sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling
and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
systems and in heat-sensitive industries.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday
Hot and humid conditions will continue through the weekend into
early next week, with an Excessive Heat Watch again possible in
some areas on Monday. Residents and visitors to the islands are
urged to stay hydrated and take the necessary precautions for the
expected heat impacts. Afternoon convective development may lead
to limited excessive rainfall impacts, mainly across parts of
central, west and northern half of Puerto Rico. The rip current
risk will remain low for all local beaches into early next week.
The next tropical wave is forecast to enter the eastern Caribbean
late Monday or early Tuesday. This will increase the change for
shower development and Thunderstorms across the regional waters
and local islands. Another plume of Saharan Dust of light to
moderate concentration is also forecast to approach the region
trailing the tropical wave.
