Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly drained areas across northern half of Puerto Rico during the afternoon and eastern sections during the early morning hours. Urban and small streams flooding is possible. .Excessive Heat...Along the west and northwest to north central coastal and urban areas of Puerto Rico, this level of heat affects anyone without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in some health systems, heat- sensitive industries and infrastructure. Elsewhere impacts possible in some health systems and in heat-sensitive industries. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Hot and humid conditions will continue through the weekend into early next week, with an Excessive Heat Watch again possible in some areas on Sunday and Monday. Residents and visitors to the islands are urged to stay hydrated and take the necessary precautions for the expected heat impacts. Afternoon convective development may lead to limited excessive rainfall impacts, mainly across parts of central, west and northern half of Puerto Rico.
