...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South
Carolina...

  Great Pee Dee River At Pee Dee affecting Marion and Florence
  Counties.

  Little Pee Dee River At Galivants Ferry affecting Horry and
  Marion Counties.

  Waccamaw River At Conway affecting Horry County.

For the Little Pee Dee River...including Galivants Ferry...Minor
flooding is forecast.
For the Waccamaw River...including Above Conway, Aiw At old Hwy 544
At Socastee, Conway, Freeland, Longs...Moderate flooding is forecast.
For the Great Pee Dee River...including Pee Dee...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Little Pee Dee River At Galivants Ferry.
* Until Friday afternoon.
* At 7:00 PM EST Wednesday the stage was 9.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
  at 7:00 PM EST Wednesday was 9.5 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
  Friday morning and continue falling to 8.4 feet Monday morning.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Flood waters will begin to affect
  residential yards in the Fork Retch community upstream of
  Galivants Ferry near the town of Nichols. Swampland flooding
  becomes noticeable and natural boat landings will be flooded.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.2
  feet on 09/30/2000.

  the Waccamaw River At Conway.
* Until further notice.
* At 7:15 PM EST Wednesday the stage was 12.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
  at 7:15 PM EST Wednesday was 12.4 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.4 feet
  just after midnight tonight.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet, Flooding will worsen in the Lees Landing,
  Riverfront South, Pitch Landing and Savannah Bluff communities.
  Flood waters will begin to affect homes north of Conway on
  Riverside Drive. Swamps will be heavily flooded.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.4
  feet on 03/15/1929.
