This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Flooding surrounding area creeks and rivers will continue.

Strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening,
mainly along and west of the James River. Main threats are ping pong
ball sized hail and wind gusts to 70 mph. Locally heavy rain and a
tornado or two are possible. Widespread heavy rain is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Flooding continues on many area rivers through the end of the week.

Strong to severe storms are possible Friday afternoon and evening,
mainly east of I-29. Some uncertainty remains in Friday`s severe
threat, but all modes of severe weather are possible as well as
locally heavy rain. Widespread heavy rainfall is not expected.

Active pattern early next week could lead to additional heavy rain
and/or severe weather threat; however, confidence is very low at this
time.
