Rivers continue to crest over the next 24 to 48 hours. Hot and humid conditions lead to heat index values above 100 degrees. Areas south of I-90 may see heat index values as high as 110 degrees. Showers and storms are possible this afternoon and evening. If storms can develop, they may quickly become severe with large hail of 2 inch diameter and wind gusts to 70 mph. Locally heavy rainfall is possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Ongoing flooding concerns continue with crests continuing into Tuesday. Showers and storms are possible Tuesday afternoon and evening. If storms can develop, strong to severe storms with locally heavy rainfall are possible.
