This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, northeast Nebraska, south central South Dakota and southeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Rivers continue to crest over the next 24 to 36 hours.

There will be slight chance for thunderstorms this evening. If
storms can develop along the Missouri River and into the Highway 20
corridor, they may quickly become severe with large hail of one and a
half inch diameter and wind gusts to 70mph. Isolated pockets of
heavy rainfall is possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Flooding will continue on many area rivers through the rest of this
week, though gradual declines are expected to begin in most areas.

Scattered thunderstorms risks will return Thursday night into Friday.
In addition to a low end severe weather risk, localized rainfall
totals of a half inch to inch may prolong flooding on swollen creeks
or rivers.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
