Flooding surrounding area creeks and rivers will continue. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Flooding continues on many area rivers through the end of the week. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms return Thursday and Friday. A marginal risk for severe storms will be focused west of the James River valley late Thursday. Further east, while severe weather is not expected, rainfall totals may range from a tenth of an inch to a half inch by Friday morning. This rainfall is not expected to worsen already ongoing flooding. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time. $$
