This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A few more scattered showers with an occasional rumble of thunder
will be possible through the late afternoon. Additional accumulation
of a few tenths for areas west of I-29. East of I-29 can expect
additional accumulation of 0.25 to 0.5 inches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Ongoing flooding concerns will continue over the next few days as
rainfall drains from the surrounding area into the waterways.

More scattered showers and storms will be possible by Sunday night,
though the threat is low (<30%). A better chance for a few strong to
severe thunderstorms is possible Monday night into Tuesday morning. A
few storms may become severe with large hail and damaging wind gusts
being the primary threats.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Iowa, including the following
  counties, Clay, Dickinson, Lyon, O`Brien, Osceola and Sioux,
  southwest Minnesota, including the following county, Nobles, and
  southeast South Dakota, including the following counties, Lincoln,
  Turner and Union.

* WHEN...Until 945 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations continues. Several structures are
  flooded and some sand bagging operations are continuing. Numerous
  roads remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 500 AM CDT, Emergency management reported ongoing flooding
    from heavy rain ongoing. Between 8 and 16 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
    warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sioux Falls, Sioux Center, Sheldon, Canton, Sibley, Rock
    Rapids, Beresford, Parker, Harrisburg, Tea, Rock Valley,
    Hull, Lennox, Sanborn, George, Centerville, Worthing,
    Larchwood, Inwood and Viborg.

  Minnesota, including the following areas, Cottonwood, Jackson,
  Nobles and Rock, and southeast South Dakota, including the

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and
  rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and
  could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - This area has already experienced several days of extreme
    rainfall and is experiencing significant ongoing flooding.
    Additional thunderstorms this afternoon may bring an
    additional 0.5 inches of rainfall, further exacerbating
    flooding.
