There is a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) of severe thunderstorms over northeastern Wyoming and southwest through south-central South Dakota, meaning isolated severe storms are possible. Primary hazards include 60 to 75 MPH wind gusts and 1 to 2 inch hail. The most likely time for these severe thunderstorms is 300 PM to 1000 PM. A fast moving cold front may bring northwest wind gusts in excess of 45 MPH just northeast and east of the Black Hills later tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Sunday night, there is slight risk (level 2 of 5) of severe thunderstorms over southern South Dakota and a small part of northeastern Wyoming, meaning that scattered severe storms are possible. There is a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) of severe thunderstorms from northeastern Wyoming to northwestern South Dakota, meaning isolated severe storms are possible. Large hail is the primary hazard with large amounts of lightning possible. Monday afternoon and evening, there is a slight risk (2 of 5) of severe thunderstorms over central South Dakota, meaning scattered severe storms are possible. There is a marginal risk (1 of 5) of severe thunderstorms over parts of western South Dakota, meaning isolated severe storms are possible.
