This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for the far southeastern Texas
Panhandle and the Rolling Plains until 8 PM this evening.

A few isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible through early
evening across the South Plains and far south central Texas
Panhandle. Any shower or storm that develops could produce strong
wind gusts to 70 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Heat index values as high as 107 degrees are expected on Saturday
over the eastern Rolling Plains and far southeast Texas Panhandle. A
Heat Advisory is in effect for this area from 1 PM until 8 PM CDT on
Saturday.

Low thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast for the extreme
southern Texas Panhandle and northwestern South Plains on Saturday.

Temperatures near or in excess of 105 degrees will be possible
across the extreme southeastern Texas Panhandle and portions of the
Rolling on Tuesday afternoon.

Low chances for late-afternoon and evening thunderstorms remain in
the forecast for portions of the extreme southern Texas Panhandle,
South Plains, and Rolling Plains from Tuesday through Friday next
week.
