...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 105.

* WHERE...Coke, Fisher, Irion, Kimble, Mason, Menard, Nolan,
  Sterling, and Tom Green Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Heat Advisory means that hot weather conditions are occurring or
expected. This will create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible.

Never, ever, leave children or pets alone in enclosed vehicles, not
even for a few minutes. Car interiors can reach lethal temperatures
in a matter of minutes.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central
Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Hot and dry conditions will continue this afternoon, leading to an
increase in the threat of heat related illnesses. A Heat Advisory
in effect for much of West Central through sunset.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

although temperatures may be a degree or two cooler for Monday,
hotter temperatures and higher humidity values will return for mid
week and more Heat Advisories may be required.
