This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will continue today mainly
south of I-20 into Central Texas. Lightning and locally heavy
rainfall will be the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

On Monday and Tuesday of next week, sea breeze thunderstorms may
approach areas as far inland as Centerville and Palestine.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the following
  counties, Parker and Tarrant.

* WHEN...Until 630 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This
    will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying
    and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in
    the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
    fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
    possible.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fort Worth, Weatherford, Benbrook, White Settlement, Crowley,
    River Oaks, Willow Park, Aledo, Westworth Village, Hudson
    Oaks, Annetta, Lake Weatherford, Westover Hills, Annetta
    South, Annetta North, Benbrook Lake and Lake Worth.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...OZONE ACTION DAY...

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has issued
an Ozone Action Day for the Dallas-Fort Worth area for Wednesday,
June 12, 2024.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone air pollution in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
on Wednesday. You can help prevent ozone pollution by sharing a
ride, walking, riding a bicycle, taking your lunch to work,
avoiding drive-through lanes, conserving energy, and keeping your
vehicle properly tuned.
