...OZONE ACTION DAY...

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has issued
an Ozone Action Day for the Dallas-Fort Worth area for Saturday,
August 13, 2022.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone air pollution in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
on Saturday. You can help prevent ozone pollution by sharing a
ride, walking, riding a bicycle, taking your lunch to work,
avoiding drive-through lanes, conserving energy, and keeping your
vehicle properly tuned.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible south of Interstate 20 this
afternoon. Severe weather is not expected but gusty winds and brief
heavy rainfall will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible for parts of the
Brazos Valley Saturday afternoon. Severe weather is not expected. Low
rain and storm chances return to the area towards the end of next
week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
